Formal & Informal Balance

Formal Balance

Formal balance is described as a symmetrical balance. This could also be explained as when an image has the same shapes, textures, and values.

  Informal Balance

Informal balance is described as asymmetrical balance. This is when you capture an image with almost the same height. The only difference about this balance is that it has different shapes, textures, or value. Thus meaning that the image has different objects going on at the same time it's being captured.

Jacqueline's Media

All About Me

My name is Jacqueline Rios but people usually call me Jackie because it's shorter. I'm a young Hispanic girl who has a big outlook on life. I have a strong mindset and character that help me move on and pursue my dreams. If I could describe myself in five words I would say I am blunt, nonchalant, hard worker, creative, and understanding. I am currently a senior in high school and plan to attend the University Of Missouri. I want to pursue becoming a well known journalist. With this I also want to be able to capture my own images and videos to go along with my writing. Right now I write my own poetry and I enjoy reading poetry. I have a passion of doing this because poetry is like art, but with words and deeper meanings. When people get to know me they usually say I don't talk or think how I am supposed to "talk or think" at my age. I don't like to associate with a lot of people, I just have a small group of friends that know me. Just because I don't like to associate myself to a lot of people doesn't mean I don' t talk or show who I am. To the contrary, I talk to whoever talks to me and I am usually the outgoing one in the group. I enjoy thrills, going to concerts, getting late night snacks, and breaking boundaries. There's more to me than I show, and that's all people should really understand from my photography and writing.
