What Is Anamorphic?

ANAMORPHIC

Anamorphic is a tool people use to determine the aspect ration of a video. In other words it is a special lense that helps the filmer decide how the video will be projected on screen. Using an anamorphic lense is of better use because it reduces the grain on a video. On the anamorphic lense images can become elongated rather than circular. Having this elongated image is called "Anamorphic Bokeh". Furthermore people use anamorphic in their videos to have a better resolution.

  1. Bokeh is not dependent nor is it a necessary result of an anamorphic lens. However, there are anamorphic lenses that use a built in bokeh template for a particular effect. while the lens can impact grain, the purpose of an Anamorphic lens is not to do so.
